- Certyficate Öko – Tex Standard 100 for clothing inserts with thermoplastic adhesive, testifying to ecologic features of our production.
History
The Most Important Events
1951 - Wałbrzyskie Zakłady Przemysłu Lniarskiego (Wałbrzych Factory of Flax Industry), place of business in Wałbrzych, was established. The factory was manufacturing linen, tow, deck-chair, towel, sheet fabrics, fabrics to be printed, harvest cloths.
1968 – A new type of fabrics was developed – sewn clothing inserts. They were fabrics of yarn with camel’s hair, characterized by very high recovery and full, natural „feel”.
1972 – To satisfy the needs of producers, mainly those of clothing industry, the production of modern clothing inserts, covered with thermoplastic adhesives, making it possible to reinforce clothes, was started.
1984 – 85 – new assortments – shirt inserts and knitted inserts were introduced into production.
1989 – The company name was changed to Fabryka Wkładów Odzieżowych Camela (Factory of Clothing Inserts Camela)
1995 – The ownership transformation took place. The established Workers’ Company with 100% ownership capital share, of the employees of Fabryka Wkładów Odzieżowych Camela S.A., took over, under the conditions of the contract of lease, the property of liquidated enterprise from the Treasury, for use, to be paid for. In the same year production of viscose and decorative yarn was started.
1997 – Production of elastic inserts was developed and implemented.
1999 – The Workers’ Company took over the whole factory’s property. In the same year production of clothing inserts with double adhesive point was started.
2002 – Production of bi-elastic inserts was developed and implemented,
2005 – Construction of a modern spinning mill was finished, the assortment of woven and knitted yarns was widened.
2005 – The company celebrated its 55th anniversary of existence and 10th anniversary of the workers’ company existence. |
