In 1629 Johann HEINISCH founded a dyeing factory in Lobenstein, Austria-Silesia. In 1849 his descendant Franz HEINISCH established a dyeing-and printing factory in Neubistritz, in the south of Bohemia. In 1921 Arthur HEINISCH settled down in Gmünd, Lower-Austria and built a textile dyeing factory there. In 1949 the start of today's factory in Frindorf/Hörsching, Upper-Austria, took place. Entrepreneurial spirit, meeting all demands of our business partners, consistency, and diligence have always been our motivation forces. Moreover, we have laid great emphasis on both quality and readiness for technological innovation. Our focus on absolute quality demands a constant application of the above-mentioned criteria to the complete dyeing process. By rigorous laboratory test series we not only meet the standards set by our customers, but also our demanding in-company quality levels. The selection of the "dye stuffs" as well as chemicals is carried out on the basis of strictly ecological and humane-biological criteria. For decades Heinisch has been taking measures to protect our environment. Therefore we do not only pay special attention to water, air and soil, but also to an environmental use of energy resources which to a large extent are provided by our own plant. The recycling of energy by means of water-, steam- and gas-turbines has been highly appreciated by the public, which is evident because of the environmental awards granted by the Austrian government.
