Fibre
HERTEX AG represents several polyester fibres producers who each play an substantial role in the industry. We mainly focus on the fibres produced for the non-woven industry. For the Italian company Realplastic we are the exclusive agent in Switzerland, Austria, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Virgin fibres
Virgin fibres are used for padding, quilting and non-woven applications. These polyester fibres are raw-white, semi-dull and are available in the following types:

Low melting fibres
As indicated in the name these specific fibres melt at a lower temperature (110¡C) than normal fibres and are therefore used as a binder with other fibres. A low melting fibre is produced by composition spinning of general polyester and specially designed low melting polyester. This special fibre is available in:

Regenerated fibres
A regenerated fibre is made from chips, flakes and other polyester second choice material. As a result, the fibre is very appropriate for direct usage or for blending with other fibres.
A regenerated fibre can be produced in either A-grade, Super A-grade, siliconized or non-siliconized. |

Yarns
Since a few years we also trade in cotton yarns. We carefully source the different qualities our Turkish, Indian and Indonesian suppliers produce. Also we have been able to establish an exclusive co-operation with several spinners, which we have closely examined in order to assure our customers a good and consistent quality.
