Jute offers us complete methodology on how to tackle
development of all the other natural fibres as explained by NCJD, jute started
years ago with Bengal and Orissa. Today it has permeated into seventeen states.
Similarly intensive work with natural fibre has started with the four southern
states and these can well permeate all the other Indian states on the paths
created by jute adding to the value of jute and broadening its definition as
not being just jute but a natural fibre..
