The EHS Guidelines for Textile Manufacturing include
information relevant to textile manufacturing projects and facilities for
natural fibers, synthetic fibers (made entirely from chemicals), and
regenerated fibers (made from natural materials by processing these materials
to form a fiber structure). This document does not include polymer synthesis
and natural raw materials production.
The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Guidelines are
technical reference documents with general and industry specific examples of
