Fabrics from Vicuña wool are manufactured exclusively at par with the highest standards regardless of its cost. The fabrics are made from feather light wool and cashmeres which are very delicate and extremely lightweight. Rare Vicuña wool with acute fineness is used to deliver substantial feel and comfort. Vicuñas are rare wild animals living in the slopes of the Andes Mountains, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. They produce very small amount of extremely fine wool, approximately one pound in a year. Due to its scarcity, it is very expensive, and its wool can be shorn only once in three years. Its fur is very soft and warm. During the period of the Inca's, Vicuñas were raised only for their wool, and it was considered illegal for a person not from the royal family to wear a garment made from Vicuña's wool.
