The fourth edition of Texcellence 09, a conference focused on textile and allied sector was hosted in Ahmedabad between November 13^th -14^th at the premises of the Ahmedabad Management Association, which was attended by a host of dignitaries from the government as well as the private sector.

Dr. S.S. Bhattacharya and Mr. Aadhar Mandot from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda shared his views on Skill Development. The presentation started with the Introduction of Skill Development mentioning: When we choose to move, the action is controlled by the conscious brain using a collection of learned movements Further he said that skill development is related to any work, learning or training activity that result in enhanced skills, knowledge and aptitude to perform a job.
