The Fiber Year 2009/10 is the tenth issue to describe in detail developments in the worlds manmade fiber, spun yarn and Nonwoven industry. Its target is to provide a comprehensive picture on the textile industry. Statistical information is instrumental in achieving an overall impression and inevitable to disclose the story behind the figures. However, it cannot explain the fundamental changes that have been taking place, as politics explain much activity in this industry today and have consequences far beyond the boundaries of the industry.
