D. Gopalakrishnan

D.Gopalakrishnan holds a Diploma in Textile (April 2000) from PSG Polytechnic, Coimbatore, B.tech in Textile (April 2006) from PSG College of technology, Post Diploma in Home Textile management (July 2007) from SVPITM, Coimbatore.

He has three years working experience in Spinning, weaving, Yarn procurement& marketing. He has presented 25 papers & posters in various national & International conferences in all over India, 6 innovative projects in technical textiles and also has 30 technical articles published in national, international journals & Textile magazines to his credit. His areas of Interest include Technical Textiles, Smart textiles & innovative textiles.

Currently he is working as a Faculty in South India Institute of Fashion technology, Coimbatore. He also guides different innovative projects for various college students. He is the Member of Coimbatore Management Association (CMA), Co-ordinator for Textile Technology Association in PSG Tech, Joint Secretary for Textile Management Association in SVPITM, Committee member of Education Development Association, Pattanam Village.
