ITME is an occasion not only to receive new leads but also to work on existing leads

What response did you receive at India ITME 2016? Have you been able to generate business leads here? What are your expectations from ITME 2020?

The response at ITME was much more than our expectations. The huge turnout of quality visitors proved that the industry is always looking for new products and solutions not only to manage current needs and overcome current challenges but also to look at the long-term perspective.

Our team members were on their toes throughout the exhibition attending to a set of diverse visitors from across the country in the stalls of our principals in spinning, knitting, weaving, processing, finishing, digital printing, non-woven and technical textiles.

Our spinning principals like LMW, LCC, LRT, Klueber, LEDL and post-spinning principals like Terrot, Brueckner, Thies, Reggiani, Dilo, Rifa had their stalls at strategic locations enabling huge footfalls of not only existing customers but many new customers.  ITME 2016 was a huge success for us enabling us to plan big.

ITME is an occasion not only to receive new leads but also to work on existing leads and take it to the next level, leveraging the new products and solutions.  Thanks to ITME, we have significantly enhanced the enquiry base across various segments including spinning, weaving, knitting, processing and finishing.
Our principals LMW have launched a series of products which include:
  1. The Smart Ring Frame - LRJ9SX
  2. The longest Speed Frame in the world with 240 spindles - LF4200AX
  3. The new concept Draw Frames LDB3 and LDF3 - Bracker and Finisher Draw Frames
  4. The fastest Comber in the world - LK 700
  5. The Ultra high production Card with 1.5 metres - LC636
  6. Lakshmi Jet Spinning machine - LJS9
Our principals Reggiani demonstrated the digital printing machine for fabrics with 3.4 metres, RIFA demonstrated the Airjet looms with 1100 rpm, RUNIAN for power efficient blanket polishing machine. Our principals Adwaith Lakshmi launched the e-bike which would be a boon to the spinning industry facilitating pieces in the ring spinning department. These products received tremendous interest from our customers enabling us to gain huge business potential.

We have concluded a good number of Greenfield and Brownfield project orders in spinning, knitting, dyeing, finishing and digital printing. Leveraging the new products, we have concluded many orders for modernisation of existing plants. We are confident that the business leads generated and the orders concluded will keep us in a good stead in the financial year 2017-18.

ITME 2016 was well organised and we appreciate and thank the ITME society for this successful event. However, we suggest that exhibitors be grouped better in future depending on the part of the value chain they serve and the products on display. This may help visitors to plan their visit better, depending on their area of interest.
