The Candidates Responsibility : |
| |
Responsible for system / plant operation & maintenance of large scale water treatment plant (>3000 Cu.m / day), Effluent treatment plant(>2000 Cu.m / day) and overall fire hydrant system including distribution piping networks and structures.
Inventory Control of treatment plants including all the chemicals and utility / process equipment and spares.
Process plant operation & maintain quality control and conducting material and energy balances, process flow diagram preparations and all equipment calibrations to ensure optimum plant operation.
Involve process system designing, contractor supervision and quality control of workmanship.
Ensure occupational health and safety with a minimal plant down time and improve operability, plant shift rosters and operator control.

The Candidates Eligibility : |
| |
B.Sc. (Eng) in Chemical & Process, Civil or Production Engineering.
8 to 10 years of experience in large scale water Treatment Plant & Effluent treatment plan (>3000 Cu.m day), Hygienic Production & Manufacturing Processes.
Training / Experience in National Water Supply & Drainago Board (NWSDB), Knowledge and experience with textile industry dyes and chemicals, Work Experience in Hygienic Manufacturing Environments and experience in Environmental Engineering and ISO 14000 would be advantageous.
Language proficiency in English & Sinhalese.
IT Literate.
Good communication skill required.
