Enriched by more than 70 years of experience in the textile industry, the US$ 150 million. KG Group is a trendsetting textile giant in South India. Started in 1932 as a cotton trading venture, the Group is now a totally integrated textile conglomerate involved in ginning, spinning, manufacturing denim, terry products, knitting, weaving and ready-made garments with own facility. The group company manufactures yarn and fabrics for the Domestic and International markets, maintaining high standards of quality.

KG also diversified into fields of Engineering, Education, Electronics, Entertainment and Finance.

Sri Kannapiran Mills Limited

Sri Kannapiran Mills Limited, the flagship company of KG Group, is a leading producer of 100% cotton yarn and grey fabrics matching the world's most stringent quality standards.

Incorporated in 1946, the company presently has two open end and two ring spun yarn units and a fabric division that are equipped with modern, state-of-the-art machinery supplied by world giants and produces 81 tons of cotton yarn and 10000 meters of grey fabrics every day which feed both domestic and international markets.

With a spindlage capacity of 41000, the two ring spun units produce 25 tons of yarn everyday in the count range of 3s to 120s in both combed and carded quality. With 8900 rotors, the two open end units produce 58 tons of yarn everyday in the count range of 1s to 24s. Specialized yarns viz. Gassed Mercerized, Slub (Ring Spun & Open End), Uneven, Multicount, Parallel, Neppy, Belcoro, Wavy, Soft twist, Zero twist, Zero pill, Cotton Lycra Core Spun, Compact, Bamboo and Dyed yarns manufactured in various counts are exported to almost all countries across the world.

Our fabric division has excellent background of developing and manufacturing Industrial, Furnishing, Institutional, Outdoor and Canvas in loom state and made ups. With thorough knowledge in Grey and Dyed yarns and state-of-the-art machinery, we could supply premium quality fabrics in wide range of Designs, Weaves and Widths. 

With keen interest and expertise in Duck Canvas, we produce various types of canvas including single fill ducks, number ducks and army ducks from Airjet and Sulzer looms. We can offer width range from 26" to 144"

The In-house Research and Development Unit have been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology by award of "Certificate of Recognition". All the four spinning units have ISO 9001 Certification from KPMG Quality Register from 1997.

KG Fabriks Ltd. is also one of the companies of KG Group. It has an installed capacity of 12 million meters per annum, we manufacture basic and specialized denims like lightweights, stretch, ring denims, cross hatch, etc., which will provide a range of value addition needed by garment manufacturers.
