NATURE OF BUSINESS :
Manufactures of cotton yarn of various counts by ring spinning process for various end users such as Weaving, Knitting and Handlooms. Manifold products such as Single Yarn, Doubled Yarn, High twist Yarn, Dyed Yarn, Slub Yarn / Fancy Yarn in cone form and in hank form of DHPR, SHPR, DHCR etc.
HISTORY OF BUSINESS :
Even though the commencement of business of the company was stated as 01.04.2005, in fact the business was actually started in 1994 itself in the name of Sri Karpagam Spinners with initial capacity of 1728 Spindles. The firm has grown up to size of 35000 Spindles as on March 2005.
In order to cope up with the global scenario of market requirements and to expand the capacity with all modern machineries, the promoters have decided to merge the two spindleage capacities of Sri Karpagam Spinners and Sri Karpagam Textiles. The result of which is the formation of the company Sri Karpagam Mills India (P) Ltd with its promoters as directors of the company .
PRESENT PRODUCTS & STRENGTH OF THE COMPANY :
Cotton Yarn of counts: 20's, 30's, 40's, 60's, 2/20's, 2/30's, 2/40's, 2/60's, - Warp
20's, 24's, 30's, 40's – Hosiery quality.
Slub Yarn of : 6's, 8's, 10's, 16's, 20's, 24's, 30's, 34's and 40's, 2/10's,
2/20's, 2/30's and 2/40's - Hosiery and Warp qualities.
Indigo Dyed Yarn of : 20's, 30's, 40's, 2/20's, 2/30's, 2/40's - Warp quality.
20's, 30's and 40's - High twist yarn.
Lycra yarns, viscose yarns, fancy yarns on required counts and quality.
The strength of our business is the capacity to produce to manifold products and render service to various market requirement.

ANCILARY OBJECTS FULL FILLED :
In may 2005, the company have installed two Wind Electric Generators of 500 Kw each at Udayathur Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Thirunelveli (Dist) and it is captively utilising the generated power from WEG's for the spinning division by wheeling TNEB grid of Tirunelveli electricity distribution circle.
The annual power requirement of our mill for the existing capacity of 35,000 spindles is 81.00 lakh units against the present generation of 22.00 lakhs units
from the two wind electric generators. So short fall of about 59 Lakhs units which needs to be covered by captive power generation.
