And while it`s the designs that make our sleepwear so special, it`s the packaging that makes it irresistible! Each set comes in a fabulous matching drawstring pouch.

To create the exquisite borders, lotus works through the non-profit group Women Weave International Foundation. The organization is dedicated to empowering and improving the lives of women in India who weave. Each piece represents the perfect blend of beauty, contemporary design and traditional skill.

As an Australian and an American, we found ourselves living on the other side of the world in Mumbai (Bombay) India due to our husbands’ respective career moves.

India has been an amazing experience for us both. We’re mesmerized by the diversity of the country, the richness in the culture and the generous hospitality of its people. Our travels have taken us to various parts of the country where we’ve discovered India’s vibrant textile traditions. A place that truly touched our heart was a little village in Central India called Maheshwar, known for its rich history in handloom.

Our experience in India and particularly with handloom is what inspired us to create our company and is reflected in our collection.
