MIDANI Group for Textiles is one of the biggest names in the field of textiles in Egypt. First established in 1960, producing only knitted fabrics, and then developed in a couple of years to produce dyed and printed fabrics.1990 was a turning point for "Middle East Co. for Textiles", as it was the year it produced polyester yarn, to be a pioneer in this industry in Egypt. To complete the journey of success, the share holders established another plant on 1995, "El MIDANI Co. for Spinning and Weaving" which was the normal development for MIDANI Group, as it produced a new product acrylic yarn, to get straight to the top in this industry.

The last plant "MIDANI Co. for Man-Made Fibers" operated in 2006 to be one of the few melt spinning plants in the region, producing dope dyed POY and FDY, Coarse and Fine yarns, normal and micro-filaments, Trilobal and round cross section, super-bright and semi-dull. Responding to the growing demand for an assurance of quality, the group is undergoing a phase of preparation for being ISO 9001 certified, with a defined quality policy;
