Tricot Half
Tricot half are made with filament yarns, being smoother and more lustrous, Tricot half is very light in weight, drape well it can be a solid color or printed, and are used in apparel. Originally made of silk but are now often made from manufactured yarns.

Tricot Satin
Satin fabrics are usually made of bright filament yarns with very low twist. Satin is almost always warp-faced; warp floats cover the surface. Because of the bright fibers, low-twist, and long floats, satin is very lustrous. It is made in many weights for use in dresses, linings, lingerie, draperies, and upholstery.

Single Jersey
Jersey is a fabric of light weight to heavy weight; used for underwear, shirts, T-shirts, dresses and sweaters.

Interlock
The two sides of the fabric look alike and they resemble the face of the single jersey, but the fabric is firmer. Interlock do not curl, and fabrics run and unravel from one end only. Interlock runs much more easily than a rib double-knit but interlock is a softer, more fluid fabric. Most interlock fabrics are plain or printed.
Can be used in apparel and some furnishings.

Rib
Rib knits have the same appearance on the face and back and are usually much thicker than single jersey. They may have up to twice the extensibility crosswise as that of single jersey can be used in apparel and some furnishings.

Pique'
The word (pique') comes from the French word meaning "quilted" because the raised effect in these fabrics is similar to that in quilts, the pique' knit produces a fabric with ridges best used in polo shirts.
