Chinese Sportswear firm 361° enters the European market

361 Degrees International Limited (361°), a major Chinese supplier of shoes and sports goods, has stepped out to is try its footwear and apparel on the European market. 361 Degrees International Limited is also setting out in the running and fitness sectors, with six colourful shoe models from the running training and trail sectors in European market.

The launch campaign, developed by Hamburg-based agency Drehmoment, focuses on the visualisation of the “runner’s high,” the euphoria runners experience after overcoming their own limits, through pop-art backgrounds. In the coming weeks, the campaign will run at the POS of sports retails, both digitally and via social networks.

Already in early September 2016, the company opened its first European headquarters in Amsterdam with four employees. From Amsterdam, the company is only working on strengthening relationships with purchasing pools and national accounts. To date, 361°’s European sales network consisted of available sales representatives and distributors.

In China, 361° generated yearly net revenues of over $700 million. In addition to subsidiaries in Asia and Europe, the company also has company headquarters in the US and Brazil.
