Sri Lankan South Asia Textiles gets gold for manufacturing

Sri Lankan textile manufacturer South Asia Textiles Limited, an Ambeon Holdings PLC subsidiary that specialises in producing weft knitted fabric, recently received the gold award in ‘Manufacturing – Apparel, Textile and Leather Products Sector’ category at the National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) 2018. The firm commenced commercial operations in 2004.
The company handles knitting, dyeing, finishing, printing, brushing, sueding and pre-shrunk fabric for leading global brands like Victoria Secret, Next, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Calvin Klein, Decathlon, Levi’s, Hugo Boss and Adidas., according to Sri Lankan media reports. (DS)
