Alvanon to talk on digital transformation at PGA 2017

Alvanon, a global apparel business and product development consultancy, has announced that golf apparel brands looking for digital transformation can turn to a pair of insightful events involving Alvanon at the PGA Merchandise Show, the golf industry’s leading event for PGA & golf industry professionals, from January 25 to 27, 2017, in US, in booth K6.

The events include a seminar conducted by Alvanon president Ed Gribbin and a discussion featuring him as a panellist. Gribbin is a renowned advisor to the apparel industry’s largest global brands and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), the International Apparel Federation (IAF), and the Sewn Products Equipment Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA).

A seminar called Digital Transformation Trends: It’s Personal, It’s Customised, It’s on Demand, will take place on January 25, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in room 102B. At the seminar, Gribbin will address the latest technologies and innovations in mining data and using analytics for personal marketing, body scanning, size prediction, product customisation, inventory management, and just-in-time strategies.

A panel session titled Speed to Profit will be held on January 25, from 1:00 2:00 p.m. at the show’s Performance & Sports Textile Sourcing Stage. Here, Gribbin will join a panel of experts to explore the ways in which speed to market development and sourcing strategies can enhance customer engagement, grow sales and market share, and materially impact bottom line results.

Visitors to Alvanon’s booth are invited to bring with them details of their most pressing golf apparel and footwear design, marketing, merchandising and supply chain challenges for review and feedback by Alvanon apparel business experts. (GK)
