IAF lines up world class speakers for Mumbai convention

For its 32nd World Fashion Convention to be held in Mumbai, India from September 26-28, 2016, the International Apparel Federation (IAF) has lined up world class speakers.
“IAF and the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) have joined forces to bring a good combination of global speakers and those from the best of Indian apparel businesses,” IAF said.
Adriano Goldschmied, founder of Diesel and Replay; Vineet Gautam, CEO of Bestseller India; Alex Thomas, Vice President at VF and Shailesh Chaturvedi, CEO Tommy Hilfiger India are among confirmed speakers.
To name a few other speakers, Faruque Hassan, senior vice president of BGMEA; J. Suresh, CEO of Arvind Brands and Darshan Mehta, President of Reliance Brands too will address the conference.
The convention will offer deliberations and insights into various opportunity areas, covering the entire spectrum from manufacturing to technology to branding and retailing.
“Insights into the fast growing Indian domestic market given by major Indian players will give delegates a very good understanding of how to capitalise on growth opportunities,” the global trade body stated. (AR)
