Perry Ellis signs namesake brand deal with Multimoda

Perry Ellis International (PEI) has entered into license agreement with Multimoda Import Inc. & Comercio Excelente Norte Sur De DV (Multimoda Import) for its Perry Ellis brand.
“Products include men's and boy's dress shirts, knit tops, woven tops, pants, sport jackets, shorts, jeans, swim trunks, vests and outerwear sold as a collection to sportswear departments,” a Perry Ellis press release stated.
The new Perry Ellis collection, which Multimoda launched in December 2015, will be marketed in select countries of Central and South Americas, the Caribbean and Mexico.
According to the company, the Perry Ellis brand offers a full lifestyle sportswear collection that stands for innate personal style, not following fads; having it together without trying too hard.
"We are delighted to expand our partnership with Multimoda Import, an excellent partner and well-known company throughout Mexico and Latin America,” said CEO George Feldenkreis.
“This continued alliance will allow us to extend the reach of our global lifestyle brands," Feldenkreis informed.
CEO Budy Attie at Multimoda Import too said, "Multimoda is extremely excited about expanding our strategic alliance with PEI in Latin America and Mexico.”
“The Perry Ellis brand is iconic and very well accepted in our markets due to its long history with top retailers as well as a large number of Perry Ellis free-standing stores in the region,” Attie also added.
Attie further added that they are confident that the popularity of the brand will continue to grow and that Perry Ellis will maintain its position as one of the fashion leaders in Latin America.
Perry Ellis International, Inc. is a designer, distributor and licensor of a broad line of high quality men's and women's apparel, accessories and fragrances.
Its collection include; dress and casual shirts, golf sportswear, sweaters, dress pants, casual pants and shorts, jeans wear, active wear, dresses and men's and women's swimwear.
