Nearly 200 companies visited the exhibit of the launch of Renaux fabrics 2009 winter collection, entitled The New Alchemy.

The event was held in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Londrina, Belo Horizonte and Fortaleza, four important textile production chain centers in the country.

Pieces were presented created by stylists Liana Fernandes, Glória Coelho, Mário Queiroz and Reinaldo Lourenço using Renaux fabrics, showing all look possibilities offered by the products.

In Rio de Janeiro, the factory had the participation of stylist Mário Queiroz, and in Fortaleza, of its partner Lycra, an Invista trademark.

"The event proved the success of the 2009 winter collection, one of the collections that received the most demands in recent years,” underscores marketing coordinator, Camila Locks. During Renaux's visits to the cities, stylists and clients were able to check out the new products.

"I was greatly surprised by the number of novelties. We have been Renaux clients for five years and we had never seen anything so innovative,” says TC Têxtil representative, Valesca Cruz.

The collection was founded on the tireless search for transformation, for the new, for the unusual: therefore, The New Alchemy.

The 2009 winter continues with plaids displaying charm and diversity and also brings visual allegories, minimalism and a sports look.

The collection is fun, eclectic and subtler. Flat fabrics arrive for consumers with more elegance and refinement, and the light fabrics are still strong, making the difference in perfect details.

The flagship of this launch is the Soft Raised group, a line of extremely soft and smooth fabrics, which sharpens the senses through touch.

Together with The New Alchemy, Renaux introduced a novelty. It is a line of RNX Tech technological fabrics with special qualities perceived from the soft feel to the processing with moisturizers that help preserve the skin's vitality.

Here are more details on the technological fabrics:
• Bacteriostatic: blocks the proliferation of colonies of bacteria, avoiding undesired odors.
• Teflon: facilitates the removal of dirt, repels oils, water and grease.
• Antiodor: reduces the bad odor that impregnates cotton fibers. This technology makes it possible to be exposed to several types of bad odors, such as fried foods and nicotine.
• Essence: encapsulates aromas, so the clothes keep that clean clothing smell over use.
• Moisturizer: combination of natural substances (Aloe Vera / Vitamin E/ Jojoba) aimed at preserving and protecting the skin from aging, while also moisturizing and significantly improving comfort.
• Thermal comfort: fabric aimed at providing a fresh or warm feeling, as well as a more pleasant touch without, however, blocking perspiration.
