Lenny Apparels to set up woven & knit garments industry in Dhaka EPZ

M/s. Lenny Apparels Limited an Indian company will set up a Woven & Knit Garments Industry in the Dhaka Export Processing Zone.

This 100% foreign owned company will invest about Taka 67 crore in setting up their plant and will produce Woven & Knit products. The company will also create employment opportunity for 1681 Bangladeshi including 61 foreign nationals.

An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and the M/s. Lenny Apparels Limited in BEPZA Complex, Dhaka (15-09-2008).

Mr. Prasanta Bhushan Barua, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Mr. Waseem Mohd. Siddiqui, Chief Executive Officer of M/s. Lenny Apparels Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organization.

Brig General Jamil Ahmed Khan, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman of BEPZA and other officials from respective organizations were present on the occasion.
