Demand grows for plus-size clothing in China

It is estimated that obese population in China has reached 325 million. This has resulted in an increase in demand for plus-size clothing.
Until a few years ago, obese people had to get their apparels specially stitched by tailors, as they could not find suitable clothes in Chinese malls.
However, the situation has gradually changed in recent years, and obese people can now find plus-size garments online.
In view of the rapidly rising demand, some domestic Chinese clothing brands have also launched plus-size clothing lines.
