Alvanon appoints Tracy Woosley as senior consultant

Alvanon Inc., the global apparel business expert, has appointed Tracy Woosley to the position of senior consultant.
Woosley will strengthen Alvanon's apparel business advisory capabilities and help the company expand its knowledge base and expertise in areas involving strategy and innovation. She is based in Minneapolis, Minn.
Ed Gribbin, president, Alvanon, Inc. said, “Tracy's career background in retail blends perfectly with Alvanon's role as apparel business expert. She will strengthen Alvanon's core competencies and assist our clients in streamlining their supply chains, engaging with current and prospective customers and innovating to improve their profitability.”
Woosley has over 20 years of apparel retail, design and management experience. She held a variety of management positions at Target Corporation, including group manager, product design and development, and project manager for Missoni for Target Apparel and Home. Most recently, Woosley supervised a team of 15 chemical and textile engineers and fabric managers at Target in the development of raw materials for owned brand apparel. She also led an industry task force comprised of top retailers with the goal of reducing textile waste in landfills, according to a press release.
Woosley holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in Fashion Design from Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles, California. (GK)
