Alvanon president Gribbin to present at IAF Convention

Ed Gribbin, president of Alvanon, will be addressing the 31st IAF World Fashion Convention being held from October 13-15 in Turkey in the plenary session 'Developments in Sourcing & Supply Chain'.
He will present his insight on October 14 at 12.00 pm into how apparel brands can address their 'speed, security and sustainability' challenges in the rapidly evolving omni-channel, consumer-driven fashion world.
“He will then host an interactive 'Apparel Sizing and Fit' workshop on October 15 at 3.00 pm,” a press release from the size and fit expert informed.
In his plenary presentation, he will explain how some of the most successful retail groups are addressing these challenges and what lessons can be learnt from their examples.
During the workshop, he will host an interactive discussion on trends and best practices around sizing strategies that maximise customer engagement and retention.
He will share technical tips for ensuring accurate and consistent fit execution and explain how some of the most successful brands in the world develop and implement winning sizing and fit strategies and practices.
Ed Gribbin has worked with most of the world's leading apparel organizations and is an authority on strategic apparel practices and processes.
He serves on the IAF board of directors and in addition, the board of directors of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) and the Sewn Products Equipment Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA). (AR)
