Amazon ranks 1 in corporate reputation poll

For the second straight year, Amazon has ranked number one in an annual corporate reputation poll by earning a record-high score of 86.27 for the survey. The company has been rated excellent in all the six dimensions – emotional appeal, workplace environment, products & services, financial performance, vision & leadership, and social responsibility.

Amazon has now ranked in the top 10 for nine straight years in the Harris Corporate Reputation Poll. Conducted by Harris Poll, it surveys more than 23,000 people across the US on the aforementioned six dimensions of corporate reputation.

And congratulations to all Amazonians—these accolades are a direct result of the whole team’s obsession over customers, pioneering spirit, commitment to operational excellence and willingness to lean into bold bets,” said Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and CEO.

Amazon continues to innovate across all six dimensions of corporate reputation—becoming the largest corporate purchaser of renewable energy in 2016, pioneering programs for employees like Career Choice, offering egalitarian benefits so employees in Fulfilment Centres receive the same benefits as top execs, creating hundreds of thousands of direct jobs and hundreds of thousands more at small businesses through Marketplace and FBA, said the company in a press release.
