E-commerce major Amazon's Indian arm has been voted by customers as the country's Most Trusted Online Shopping Brand for the second consecutive year as per TRA's Brand Trust Report, according to a press release by Amazon India.

Amit Agarwal, Vice President and Country Manager, Amazon India said, “We are truly humbled by this recognition and thank customers for choosing us as India's most trusted online store. It's still 'Day 1' for us in India and customers should continue to expect us to invent on their behalf and invest aggressively in providing them with the largest selection of products at low prices, and a fast, reliable and trustworthy shopping experience.”

Commenting on the ranking, N Chandramouli, CEO, TRA said, “It's a pleasure to announce that Amazon India has climbed 63 ranks from the previous report to feature within the top 100 Most Trusted Brands in India. It is also a leader in the online shopping category. Kudos to Amazon India for building a service in such a short time that customers have voted, not just once but twice in a row, as the most trusted online shopping company.”

Amazon.in claims to be the largest online store in India, offering customers over 52 million products across hundreds of categories offered by thousands of sellers from the length and breadth of the country.

In keeping with its fast and reliable delivery promise to customers in India, Amazon.in offers a range of premium shipping options to customers including Two Day, One Day, Same Day, Morning Delivery, Release Day, Midnight Delivery and Sunday Delivery, the release said. (SH)
