BGMEA elects new office bearers for 2015-16

Md. Siddiqur Rahman, managing director of Sterling Denims has been elected as the president of BGMEA.

Moinuddin Ahmed, managing director of M.N. Knitwears, and Faruque Hassan, managing director of Giant Apparels, have been elected as the first vice president and senior vice president, respectively, according to the BGMEA website.

Mohammed Nasir, managing director of Evergreen Sweaters has been elected as the vice president (Finance). SM Mannan (Kochi), managing director of Seha Design (BD); Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu), managing director of Rising Apparels; Ferdous Perves Bivon, managing director of Bando Fashions; and Md. Ferdous, managing director of  Farmin Fashion Design have also been elected as vice presidents. (RKS)
