Italian brand Calzedonia has chosen Emana yarn, which incorporates bioactive minerals, which when comes in contact with the body, facilitates heat exchange, thereby boosting skin microcirculation and improves skin’s appearance.

Emana yarn has been developed by Fibras, a global business division of the Solvay Group and is manufactured and distributed exclusively in Europe by Fulgar, which is in to production of nylon and covered yarns.

Due to its composition, Emana absorbs heat from the body then returns it in the form of infrared rays, harmless and imperceptible waves of natural thermal energy which are able to stimulate microcirculation at skin level.

The clinical tests, conducted by independent cosmetic laboratories, guarantee the effectiveness of this yarn in improvement of blood microcirculation; skin becoming more elastic, firm and soft and reduction of skin imperfections.

According to an Emana press release, the Emana yarns made jeans are similar in looks to standarised jeans and need to be worn six hours a day for four weeks as tests have shown visible changes in a period of one month.

Emana further added in the press release that the properties of Emana are permanent and remain unvaried even after an unlimited number of washings because the technology is an integral part of this yarn.

“Calzedonia is a leading brand in the industry and we are pleased that it has selected the Emana yarn for some of its garments,” Renato Boaventura, president of Fibras said.

“The new Calzedonia jeans with Emana help your skin’s well-being and is a safe beauty secret for those who wear them and invisible to everyone else,” Boaventura too added.
