Deckers Brands appoints new omni-channel president

Deckers Brands, a global manufacturer and distributor of apparel, footwear and accessories, has appointed Stefan Caroti as the 'omni-channel president' of the company with effect from November 2, 2015 to look after the omni-channel operations of the brand, according to a press statement released by the company.

Caroti was associated with Puma, prior to joining Deckers Brands, as the chief commercial officer. He was responsible for managing the global e-commerce, retail and wholesale division of five geographic regions.

He has also held several leadership positions for a span of 23 years at Nike including that of the vice president and general manager – Footwear of Nike's EMEA region and vice president and general manager, EMEA commerce.

He will be directly reporting to Dave Powers, president of the company.

“We are delighted to welcome Stefano to the Deckers family,” said Powers. “He has a strong track record of successfully running multi-channel businesses for global brands. I am confident that he is the right person to lead our omni-channel division and help take our customer-centric business model to the next level.” (MCJ)
