Iluna to showcase Roica fibre swimwear at MarediModa

The three-day exhibition will kick-off from November 7.

In the beachwear collection, Iluna will present a full range of matching sarongs with fringes and all-over designs with contemporary, innovative and above all, sustainable design. "The creative solutions have incorporated a new stretch component from the Roica Eco Smart family of fibres, which is the first and unique, GRS certified stretch fibre made from more than 50 per cent of raw material that is sourced from pre-consumer recycled material," said the company in a press release.

Last year, Iluna converted all their stretch yarn exclusively to using unique Roica Eco Smart family for its entire top of the range jacquardtronic and Textronic articles, which meant the whole collection became an industry leader in the production of eco-lace and galloons on global scale. The DNA of the company holds sustainability values at its heart, combined with the sophisticated designs seen in its ‘Made in Italy’ Iluna Green label line.

To reinforce this commitment to smart innovations, Iluna will celebrate its new STeP (Sustainable Textile Production) certification by Oeko-Tex. The company is committed to sustainable production for manufacturing and processing in a transparent and clear manner. (RR)
