Lynn University inks a deal worth $1 million with Adidas

Florida based Lynn University has inked a four-year deal worth $1 million with sports brand Adidas to be the official athletic footwear, apparel, and accessory brand of all NCAA Division II Fighting Knights teams through the 2019-2020 season, as per a university press release.

Lynn University's national champion Fighting Knights compete in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, tennis, softball, soccer, swimming and volleyball. The university's 14 intercollegiate teams are home to nearly 300 student athletes. 

The deal comes at a time when 4 Fighting Knights teams contend for national titles and tennis coach Mike Perez, who has led the Fighting Knights tennis teams to seven national championships, records his 1,000th career win.

Devin Crosby, Lynn athletics director, said, “Adidas is truly a global sports brand and like Lynn focuses on shaping the future through innovation. Throughout our talks with Adidas and Baker's Sports, they put great value in the Lynn partnership and collaborated to ensure that the Fighting Knights brand advances its reach." (HO)
