Garments producer M&J Group and Garmon Chemicals, a manufacturer of chemical solutions for garment finishing will together partake at Munich Fabric Start and showcase a sustainable capsule collection.

“In the M&J stand, located in the Blue Zone of Munich Fabric Start, one will be able to discover a new fashionable denim collection, created having sustainability in mind ,” a press release from M&J said.

It represents a further acknowledgment of M&J's increasingly reliable role within denim production chain and its highly innovative potential.

M&J will show 'Out of Blue', a capsule collection dedicated to selvedge denim and inspired to the Japanese philosophy and pure indigo

“All the garments are conceived to prove how a truly conscious approach can result in a great aesthetic and functional output,” the Bangladesh based company added.

All the garments of the collection are washed with products certified by GreenScreen for Safer Chemical, a transparent chemical hazard screening method developed by the NGO “Clean Production Action”.

“It is also recommended by Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Joint Map 2014 as the best tool to assess the safety of chemicals,” M&J informed.

According to M&J, ethics, innovation and economical choices are now crucial for the future of the industry and the production chain has to put a lot of effort into this necessary green approach.

“In this regard, Garmon and M&J have created this capsule collection, in order to show to the industry that it is possible to create garments that have appealing aesthetics and a responsible heart,” it observed.

“The environment and our business are very much interconnected and if we cannot sustain the environment, any healthy, future business is very unlikely,” Alberto De Conti at Garmon Chemicals said.

“We cannot forget our role in society and feel well-satisfied only if we have the opportunity to create projects that are really positive not only for the industry, but also for the people and environment,” he too added.

“This is the spirit of this brand-new collaboration and the vision of M&J Group,” Fabio Adami Dalla Val, trade marketing manager of M&J Group also said. (AR)
