Six new participants from across the fashion industry have joined with Ellen Macarthur’s Make Fashion Circular, an initiative that drives collaboration between industry leaders and key stakeholders to strive towards creating a circular economy for fashion. These participants include: Fast Retailing, Guess, Lee, Nordstrom, Vestiaire Collective and Wrangler.

Of these new participants, Guess, Lee, and Wrangler are also part of Make Fashion Circular's Jeans Redesign, created to transform the way jeans are produced in line with guidelines created by the Foundation and 40 denim experts across the fashion industry. The aim of the project is to ensure jeans last longer, can be easily recycled, and are made in a way that is better for the environment and health of the producers.

Fast Retailing is a leading Japanese retail holding company with global headquarters in Japan. UNIQLO is the largest brand in the Fast Retailing Group, with others including GU, Theory, Helmut Lang, PLST (Plus T), Comptoir des Cotonniers, Princesse tam.tam and J Brand.

Guess?, designs, markets, distributes, and licenses a lifestyle collection of contemporary apparel, denim, handbags, watches, eyewear, footwear, and other related consumer products. Its products are distributed through branded stores as well as in department and specialty stores around the world.
