Spanish clothing brand Mango will open new offices in Barcelona’s 22@ district in early 2019. The offices will have an area of between 800-1000 sq m and will house the company’s digital innovation centre whose aim will be to meet the growth targets set for the online business and also develop onmi-channel selling projects planned for the coming years.

Initially, only a small part of the current headquarters team will transfer to the new offices, to which new personnel will be added, reaching a total of 100 people within a period of two years. The teams working at the innovation centre will continue to collaborate side-by-side with the other teams at the company headquarters in Palau-solità i Plegamans.

Mango sells online products in 83 countries. Online sales now account for 15.5 per cent of total turnover of the company and in 2017 turnover for the online channel rose by 15.4 per cent to €339.2 million. The company expects that online sales will reach 20 per cent of total turnover during 2019, a target initially established for the close of 2020. (PC)
