Myntra launches Japanese sportswear brand Mizuno

Online fashion retailer Myntra announced the launch of yet another top global sportswear brand, Mizuno, on its platform.

Mizuno becomes the latest member of the existing club of elite global sportswear and apparel brands available exclusively online on Myntra, the online retailer said in a press release.

Mizuno, a Japanese sportswear brand with operations of over 100 years, has established itself as one of the world's top manufacturers of sportswear and sports equipment, especially golf clubs and accessories.

Mizuno products available on Myntra includes footwear and sports apparel with over 140 unique styles, to suit the requirements of men and women across age groups.

Sports shoes from Mizuno are known for its 'wave technology', which is a unique midsole technology that provides both, cushioning and stability on every step, resulting in a smoother and comfortable run. This state-of-the-art range of footwear is now available on Myntra and its parent company Flipkart from a price point starting at Rs 1,299 up to Rs 13,999.

Myntra's CMO and Head of International Brands, Gunjan Soni said, “Myntra's sportswear collection is all about constantly creating new looks, new experiences for outdoor enthusiasts and offering the best of performance and style from a wide range of curated products. The introduction of Mizuno, an iconic name in the sportswear category will further boost interest among fitness and sports aficionados.”

Commenting on the launch, Kiyoshi Tatani, President, Mizuno Singapore Limited said, “There is no better partner who understands both retail and distribution as Stag. We in Mizuno are excited about our exclusive launch with Myntra and Flipkart.
