Matrimonial market goes pricey with dear wedding gowns

Matrimony is a matter of money especially when it comes to shop beautiful wedding gowns for brides-to-be.
In recent years, cost of marriages is continuously increasing as shopping list is dominated by auspicious attires, which are heavy on purses of matrimaniacs.
Cheapest wedding gowns are available at RMB200, while expensive ones cost over RMB10000 in domestic markets.
Manufacturers keep large profit margins and hence, from shed to showroom, the wedding gowns' prices change drastically from RMB100 to 1000.
Industry experts opine that this trend has been further boosted by shoppers' buying habit. They always look for costlier items and grunt at cheap but qualitative ones.
However, it's also guesstimated that if people change their shopping attitudes, these manufacturers of wedding gowns will have to think of new way to sell their products. Perhaps a retail market or chain shops would be a better option than the present traditional bazaars.
