Cordura fabrics to be used in outfits for 'enduro' motorcycle riders

INVISTA announces the adoption of CORDURA fabric in a new apparel line powered by KLIM . CORDURA fabrics are used throughout the collection's premium line of pants specially designed for "enduro"motorcycle riders.

"We needed a fabric that would withstand the challenges of the outdoor elements and the demands and rigors of extreme riders," said KLIM U.S. director of marketing, John Summers. "Renowned for its durability and abrasion resistance, we knew CORDURA fabric was the right choice because it provides durable protection and mobility allowing riders to perform at their best."

This effort between the KLIM and CORDURA brand teams provides riders with an apparel system designed with a wide variety of functional capabilities: maximum durability and abrasion resistance, exceptional moisture management performance, and enhanced comfort and breathability.

Additionally, the exceptional strength-to-weight ratio of CORDURA brand fabrics provide the collection with lightweight, high-tenacity fabric functionality to allow riders flexibility and agility in their movement.

CORDURA fabrics are featured in four pant designs - Chinook, Baja, Dakar, and Mojave - and are available in red, blue, orange and gray. Additional specifications are as follows:

• The Chinook Pant delivers durability and all day comfort. Its construction, which includes a 420 denier CORDURA fabric shell, seat, and knees allows it to stand up to the harsh elements found on the trail, and its design allows for ultra-flexible movement.
• Providing relief from the unforgiving summer heat was the inspiration for the Baja Pant. Making this an ultra-rugged, in-the boot pant are the incorporation of 830 denier CORDURA fabric shell and 1800 denier CORDURA Ballistic fabric in the seat and knees.
• Engineered with comfort in mind, the Dakar Pant provides zippered vents combined with rider specific patterning and 840 denier CORDURA fabric in high wear areas and throughout the outer shell - The Mojave Pant is designed to conquer the elements. Powered by 840 denier CORDURA fabric in the seat and knees and coupled with rider specific patterning and a comprehensive ventilation system helps this pant provide enduro aficionados with a durable riding solution.
