Steve Eklund as Respect Your Universe's CFO

Respect Your Universe Inc is pleased to announce it has appointed Steven H. Eklund as its Chief Financial Officer effective June 17th, 2011. His responsibilities will include Finance, Administration and Strategic Planning for the Company.
Mr. Eklund is a seasoned senior finance and operations executive with a proven track record of driving results. He has broad experience in consumer products and retail with global Fortune 100 companies and high growth emerging businesses, including Nike, Hanna Andersson, Eddie Bauer and General Mills.

Mr. Eklund held several key finance and strategic roles during his recent 14 year tenure at Nike Inc., including CFO Nike Global Apparel and Equipment, CFO Nike Golf and COO/CFO Nike ACG. His expertise is optimizing capital structures, cash flow and profitability to create a stable platform for growth while driving crisp execution of the business processes.
