British global fashion retailer New Look will be opening 20 stores across Romania in the next five to eight years in alliance with Fourlis group, its franchise in the country. And henceforth, there will be no need for local people to go abroad in search of a New Look store.
The first of the twenty stores is scheduled to open on August 26 in AFI Palace, Cotroceni shopping mall in Bucharest. This will be followed by a second store in Baneasa Shopping City to be opened on September 1. Thereafter, new stores would be opened in Cluj – Napoca and Constanta.
Besides Britain, New Look currently has a chain of more than 1,000 high street shops in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Malta, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
Fourlis group, had earlier this year acquired the rights to set up New Look chains of stores in Bulgaria and Romania. The group also has similar franchise rights to develop Intersport stores in Romania.
