Streetwear label Bench ties up with online music magazine RA

UK streetwear label Bench have partnered with global online electronic music magazine Resident Advisor (RA) to bring you a spectacular series of films that look at the real scenes and real stories behind dance music.

This collaboration with RA further cements the brand's ongoing relationship with the dance music scene, along with their ongoing dedication to producing real clothing for real people.

RA and Bench will showcase some of the most exceptional, undiscovered musical dynamics of different cities across the globe.

Each of the short documentaries will speak with some of the most influential figureheads in each city, uncovering the reasons why the sounds created are affecting the electronic music scene on a global level. All of their discoveries will be shared online in the 'Real Scenes' documentaries over the next three months.

First up RA and Bench journeyed to Bristol to explore how the city has flourished in recent years, discovering why this is one of the most significant electronic music outposts in the world today.

Rob Griffiths, Head of Product and Marketing: "We are so excited about Real Scenes, a project that we have been working on with our friends at Resident Advisor. We jumped at the chance of working with RA on these films as they not only sat perfectly with our continuing support of the electronic music scene but also because Resident Advisor wanted to use Real Scenes to demonstrate how creative people from different walks of life are contributing to their city's global presence".

A brand that was born out of the rave culture of the 'Madchester' scene, Bench has gone from humble beginnings to global status. Bench has stayed completely relevant and true by constantly striving to create innovative, fashionable clothes inspired by real people and the real lives they lead.

From the Real Scenes documentaries, and partnering leading music festivals, to Bench's apparel ranges, musical influences continue to flow through the veins of the brand. Beats and baselines can be found in the smallest details on clothing and through their signature in-house designed graphics.
