Page Industries will introduce Speedo products

Page Industries Ltd has signed an agreement to become the exclusive licensee of Speedo International Ltd to manufacture, market and distribute the Speedo brand in India. Under this agreement, Page Industries will introduce a range of Speedo products including swimwear, watershorts , apparel, equipment and footwear. Whilst the agreement comes in to effect from July 1, 2011, all the product categories will be available on the shelves starting January 2012.

Speaking about the agreement, Sunder Ashok Genomal - Managing Director, Page Industries Ltd. said; "Swimming has its own inherent advantages over other forms of exercises, hence, an unprecedented number of consumers are now taking up swimming as a fitness and lifestyle option. Speedo is the number one brand and product choice for swimmers around the World. It is a matter of great pride for all of us at Page Industries to partner with a brand of this stature. I am sure that Speedo's product technology & marketing leadership, clubbed with our expertise in manufacturing and distribution will go a long way in forging o very successful and mutually beneficial partnership."
