British retailer store Debenhams has closed concessions of fashion retailer Jane Norman after discussions with the firm's administrators Zolfo Cooper and Edinburgh Woolen Mill broke down.
This has put nearly 500 jobs at risk, although Debenhams has said it will try to find other suitable jobs for the Jane Norman staff.
A month ago, 33 Jane Norman stores were rescued from administration by Philip Day owned Edinburgh Woolen Mill, a knitwear specialist. However, the 95 Jane Norman concessions in Debenhams fall under separate agreement.
Jane Norman had collapsed in June due to debts of nearly £140 million.
