United Legwear to distribute Swedish Happy Socks brand

Stockholm-based socks and hosiery brand Happy Socks is excited to announce that it has partnered with United Legwear Co. as its exclusive U.S. licensee and distributor.

Launched in 2008, Happy Socks is currently sold in over 50 countries, across every continent. The brand's new partnership with United Legwear Co. will allow Happy Socks to continue to build its retail base in the U.S. market, serve its existing customers more efficiently, and develop its long term goal of being the number one fashion sock brand in the world. The Happy Socks product offering presently includes combed cotton socks, hemp socks, knee highs and fashion tights available in a variety of novelty designs.

Happy Socks' main and seasonal collections will be housed at United Legwear's showroom in the heart of New York City's Garment District. Design of Happy Socks will remain under the control of Happy Socks Creative Director, Viktor Tell.

It all started under the cloud-ridden April sky of a Swedish spring in 2008. A vision to turn an everyday essential into a colourful design item and spread happiness. A standard of ultimate quality, craftsmanship and creativity: The concept introduced by the Happy Socks collective with Mikael Soderlindh and Viktor Tell at the helm. Happy Socks is sold in close to 50 countries across all continents.

The launch of the latest collection, Chapter FOUR, introduces a new seasonal delivery structure, improved suppliers, and new fabrics and products including tights and ankle socks produced in Italy. Happy Socks is at the forefront of the fashion sock market and is sold at retailers such as Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Opening Ceremony.
