Timberland expands kids apparel to U.S.

The Timberland Company, a leading outdoor footwear and apparel company, announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Parigi Group. Beginning with the Fall 2011 line (currently available in stores), Parigi Group will design, source and market Timberlandbranded kids apparel in the United States and its territories.

The initial term of the licensing agreement runs through 2014. Timberland will continue to design, source and market Timberland kids apparel for its European, Asia and Canadian operations through Children Worldwide Fashion, S.A.S.

“We are pleased to be working with a partner who shares a strategic vision to design children's clothing that represents the essence of the Timberlandbrand,” said Tim Diaz, Vice President of Accessories and Licensing.

“The Parigi Group's reputable standing as a manufacturer of children's apparel together with our shared corporate values is a partnership that lends itself to great opportunity.”

Under this relationship, Parigi Group will design and distribute boys', girls', and infants' apparel and related accessories that complement Timberland's footwear offerings, remaining true to Timberland's New England heritage and reputation as an authentic outdoor brand.

The collection will be distributed at major department stores and specialty stores throughout the United States and its territories.
