The 2011 Greenerpalooza Award has been awarded to Earthtec in recognition of its green manufacturing, innovation, and leadership in putting across the message of sustainability in multiple ways.

Dennis Randall, the founder of Earthtec, is committed to sustainability and his company has streamlined design and manufacturing process that results in a greener manufacturing with less waste.

Earthtec has its own product development, knitting, finishing, dyeing and garment production units, where recycled or renewable materials are used to produce functional, fashionable apparels.

The Greenerpalooza Award is given each year to a local person, organization or initiative dedicated to energy efficiency. It recognizes the tireless work of those who support and promote green efforts and help New Hampshire State maintain its sustainability.

Earthtec collects waste plastic bottles and turns them into stylish and eco-friendly apparels. As a member of the Green Alliance and 1% For The Planet, the company has developed the Earth 360 programme.

Under the programme, plastic bottles and other plastic wastes are collected at various sporting events, conferences, schools, concerts and other gatherings. The collected plastics are then processed to turned into flake, followed by fibre, yarn, fabric, and finally into apparel and accessories.
