This autumn, M&S has joined forces with top photographer Rankin to launch the new kidswear campaign „Do Your Thing?. The campaign, which will include print advertising, in store and online imagery, features four winners from a competition launched earlier this year that saw M&S and Rankin partner with ITV to find four talented kids to be the faces of the Autumn/Winter 2011 kidswear campaign.
Judged by M&S and Rankin, the competition looked to celebrate the diversity of kids? passions and demonstrate individuality. „Do Your Thing? encouraged parents and guardians to upload a one minute video which showed their child?s passion or talent onto the M&S „Do Your Thing? microsite hosted by ITV.
With nearly 600 entries to the competition, the four winners who stood out to the judges and have gone on to feature in this exciting campaign are: Ella Greensmith, aged seven for her great eye for art and fantastic drawing skills, Sean Turner, aged seven for his passion and skill on the violin, Danielle Harrison, aged eleven for her exquisite ice skating performance and Jack Griffiths, aged twelve for his impressive extreme martial arts display.
Karl Doyle, M&S Director of Kidswear says, “We are delighted to launch our autumn campaign featuring our competition winners shot by Rankin. We were extremely impressed with the mixture of talents and passions displayed by all the kids that entered and are excited to launch our new, on trend, high fashion autumn kidswear ranges on our uniquely talented winners”.
