Armorex range has 'power of two' safety level

UniFirst recently announced that the company has added a new reflective striping option to its most popular Armorex FR flame resistant work shirts, pants, and coveralls to create a new line of combined Flame Resistant/Enhanced Visibility safety uniforms.
The new "double-duty protection" safety workwear is designed to help safeguard workers from potential burn injuries and from being struck by vehicles when working on or near roadways in low light conditions--risks associated with many occupations, including those in oil and gas, roadway/construction, and electrical contracting industries.
UniFirst, an industry leader in the supply and servicing of uniforms, workwear, and protective clothing, has made the new line available to customers through both uniform rental and purchase programs.
Besides boasting the industry's most innovative flame resistant (FR) fabrics, UniFirst's new safety uniform line features 3M Scotchlite reflective striping that completely encircles elbow and knee areas. Such 360-degree reflectivity means wearers can be more easily seen no matter their arm or body positions. And, for additional protection, shirts and coveralls also incorporate the use of added reflective striping across back and waist areas.
"This new flame resistant workwear line with enhanced visibility striping offers employers and their staff protective safety apparel taken to the power of two," says Adam Soreff, Director of Marketing at UniFirst. "As a result, it's an ideal solution for at risk workers who, until now, were required to don FR garments and then layer them with visibility vests when outdoor work conditions warranted the added protection. Now, these same workers can be more comfortable and safe on the job while wearing these two-in-one safety uniforms."
