OBJE promotes Rachel Stark-Cappelli to CEO

Capitalizing on the momentum generated by its successful denim line launch last month at WWDMAGIC in Las Vegas, Obscene Jeans Corp. will name Rachel Stark-Cappelli the company's new CEO.
“This is an incredible opportunity that I'm really looking forward to,” Stark-Cappelli said. “I've been heavily involved with Obscene Jeans since the company's inception, and it's gratifying to know that my accomplishments here have been recognized and rewarded. I have big plans for this company, and the outstanding response that our new denim collection has received fills me with confidence that all our goals will be achieved.”
In her role as OBJE's Lead Designer, Stark-Cappelli was instrumental in the creation of Obscene Jeans' debut line of fashions and accessories. In addition to designing the company's exotic denim collection, she secured international distribution for the line from Modae SRL and drafted new sales agreements with North American fashion boutiques. A veteran of the European fashion industry who lived and worked in Italy for nearly 15 years, Stark-Cappelli brings international expertise and a creative eye to Obscene Jeans' top spot.
“My first priority will be to continue building the international distribution network necessary to make OBJE a global luxury lifestyle brand,” Stark-Cappelli said. “Our debut collection attracted a great deal of interest from foreign distributors last month at WWDMAGIC, and we're currently working on new agreements around the world. The markets for denim are exploding in Asia, South America and other emerging economies, and OBJE is poised to grow right along with them.”
The world won't have to wait long for its next glimpse at Stark-Cappelli's sultry designs. Obscene Jeans will be on display later this month at SRQ Fashion Week in Sarasota, Fla., a six-day event expected to attract fashion buyers, distributors and retailers from all over the globe. Exclusive photos and video of the company's hottest new fashions are available now on the company's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
